Youth Tennis at Sinking Spring YMCA

The Y offers a full pathway for youth tennis players ages 5–18, from first-time beginners to advanced competitors. Our youth tennis programs combine skill development, teamwork, and fun, helping every player gain confidence on and off the court.

Whether your child is just picking up a racquet or training for competition, our certified YMCA tennis professionals provide the instruction, encouragement, and structure to help them thrive.

Tennis Clinics

Our group clinics are where young players grow their love for the game. Each clinic is designed around age, skill, and experience, with a focus on movement, stroke development, and rally skills. Through game-based learning and positive coaching, players build strong foundations and develop the confidence to play competitively.

Clinics are a great way to:

  • Learn proper technique in a fun, social environment

  • Improve consistency, coordination, and strategy

  • Stay active and connect with new friends

  • Progress through skill levels at your own pace

Placement is flexible, YMCA Tennis Professionals evaluate each player to ensure the best fit for their skill level and growth.

Private Tennis Lessons

Private tennis lessons give players one-on-one time with a certified YMCA coach. Lessons are tailored to your child’s unique goals,  whether that’s mastering serves, preparing for tournaments, or fine-tuning footwork.

Private instruction provides:

  • Personalized attention and faster improvement

  • Flexible scheduling year-round

  • Focused feedback and skill refinement

  • A fun, encouraging environment for all ages and abilities

Private lessons are scheduled directly with a YMCA Tennis Professional.
